Push Notifications advertising & Quality Guidelines

To start Push Notification campaigns make sure it complies with the ad content and quality guidelines.

 

Ad content and Quality Guidelines:

 

  1. Image or content quality

    Landing page creatives must content must be easy to recognize.
    Typos, misleading images, empty pages, etc. are not allowed.

  2. Trademarks or brand references (logos)

    Reliance on brand logos or references is prohibited in cases when a campaign doesn’t promote this brand (e.g, eCommerce-related brand products or offers).
    The exploitation of a brand logo is permitted if a logo is placed on the promoted product.

  3. Sexually provocative or suggestive content

    Preclude the use or the hint of content with full or partial nudity, sex toys, genitals, masturbation (text/images/icons/offers)

    Wrong: “Horny girls are lonely tonight!”, “Teens want to have sex with you”, “Hot girls are eager for hard fuck.”

    Correct: “Best date ever are waiting for you.”,  “Sweetest girls want to chat.”.

  1. Tech-support scary content which includes words like ‘virus’, ‘malware’, ‘threat’.


    Avoid the use of any scare content in creatives, texts and landing pages about the possible viruses, potential threats, file damage, etc. that can frighten users.

    Content that offers to enhance your desktop or mobile device is permitted.
    Virus my damage your smartphone ..”, “Scan completed”, “Click here to remove malware”, “Your phone/browser is infected”, “Your phone is under risk”, “Your personal data will be deleted” etc.

  1. Sex enhancement pills/drugs

    Prohibited the use of content which includes words like ‘prostate’, ‘viagra’, ‘potency’, ‘erection’ etc.
    Landing pages that have non-sexual terms for "prostate", "potency" etc. are allowed.
    Also, note that there should be an indication that the promoted product is a dietary supplement. If it is ‘medicinal drugs’, the landing page will be rejected.

  2. Misleading websites copies


    The imitation of well-known and popular sites and companies interface is prohibited. This includes the use of logos of well-known websites or brands in order to increase the credibility of the landing page or make the landing page look like the official website.

  3. Browser messages imitations


    The imitation of well-known browsers is also prohibited.

  4. Celebrities


    It’s not allowed the use of “fake news” with celebrities or politicians' names for promotion or negative representation of the individuals featured.
    Also, It is prohibited to promote the product/diet on behalf of celebrities.
